MAISON À UN ÉTAGE une auto construction moderne
This project is a single storey low maintenance house with several key objectives: it was to be - low cost, light filled, have a modern character and a sense of space. There is a large internal space linking kitchen, dining and sitting-room areas. The three bedrooms are in separate areas but it was important to create a direct link from the main bedroom to a private south facing garden with swimming pool. The Alvo Aalto inspired architecture is the result of a simple, honest approach to a clear brief. This is a self-build project due to complete in 2015.
Ce projet renvoie à une maison d’un étage demandant peu d’entretien avec 4 objectifs principaux : Elle devait être - peu chère, lumineuse, moderne et spacieuse. Elle comprend un grand espace interne rassemblant une cuisine, une salle à manger et un salon. Les trois chambres sont dans des sections différentes mais il était important de créer un lien entre la chambre principale et le jardin avec la piscine exposée au Sud. L’Architecture inspirée de Alvo Aalto est le résultat d’une approche simple et honnête. Cette auto construction verra sa fin en 2015.
