17th CENTURY PIGONNIERE converted to modern home
PIGEONNIER DU 17ème SIÈCLE converti en une maison moderne
The character of this 17th century structure has been retained by careful planning. Where possible we kept the existing structure or re-worked it using traditional techniques but taking into account modern needs. We eradicated all existing damp and created a comfortable living environment using an eco geothermic heat pump linked to underfloor heating. A large wood burner was added for extra warmth and character.
Le caractère de cet immeuble du 17ème siècle a été préservé grâce des planifications rigoureuses. Nous avons gardé la structure originale, ou bien nous l’avons retravaillé en utilisant des techniques traditionnelles tout en gardant en tête les besoins modernes. Nous avons éliminé toute humidité et crée un espace de vie confortable grâce à une pompe à chaleur géothermique liée au chauffage au sol. Une poêle à bois a également été installée pour plus de chaleur et de caractère.
